What is in the formula
HYVIA® is Epicutis' patented moisturising ingredient derived from organic non-GMO chia seed oil. The formula also includes glycerin, shea butter and meadowfoam seed oil for hydration and conditioning, plus ceramide NP to support the skin barrier.
DSD, tocopherol and ferulic acid provide antioxidant support, while evening primrose seed extract and other emollients contribute to the crème's rich feel and skin-conditioning profile.
Daily routine
How to use Epicutis Hyvia® Crème
Apply a pea-sized amount to the face, neck, décolletage and eye area, then gently spread and press until absorbed. Epicutis recommends using it morning and night.
If you are also using Lipid Serum, apply the serum first and follow with Hyvia® Crème. Finish with broad-spectrum SPF during the day.

Yes. Apply Lipid Serum first, allow it to absorb, then follow with Hyvia® Crème. Epicutis presents the serum and crème as complementary treat-and-hydrate steps.
Can I use it alongside tretinoin?
It can be used as the moisturising step in a routine that also contains tretinoin. Because tretinoin tolerance varies, keep the rest of the routine simple and follow the instructions provided with your tretinoin.
Is it suitable for sensitive or rosacea-prone skin?
Epicutis positions Hyvia® Crème for a wide range of skin types and the line is fragrance-free. If your skin is very reactive or you have rosacea, introduce new products gradually and judge them by your own tolerance.
Can I use it after an in-clinic procedure?
