Morpheus8 Body at Face for Soul is never delivered without a full consultation first. This is not a formality that exists to satisfy a regulatory checkbox. It is a clinical assessment that determines whether treatment is appropriate, which areas can be treated, at what parameters, and what combination of approaches is likely to produce the best results for your specific tissue.
This post explains what the consultation involves and why each element matters for the outcome.
The quality of the assessment before treatment determines the quality of the result. At Face for Soul, the consultation is where the plan is built, not where the booking is confirmed.
The Morpheus8 Body consultation at Face for Soul is not a sales appointment. No treatment will be recommended that is not clinically supported by what is found at assessment. If Morpheus8 Body is not the most appropriate treatment for your concern, this will be said clearly, and alternative approaches or referrals will be discussed. If a different treatment would produce better results for your specific presentation, that is what will be recommended.
Your Concerns and Goals
The consultation begins with a conversation about what has brought you in, what you are hoping to achieve and what you have already tried. This establishes the clinical context and helps to understand whether your expectations are realistic for what Morpheus8 Body can deliver. Honest communication about realistic outcomes is part of the consultation, not an afterthought.
Your Medical and Treatment History
A clinical history is taken covering relevant medical conditions, current medications and supplements, previous aesthetic treatments and their outcomes, previous pregnancies and deliveries if relevant, and any history of adverse reactions to previous procedures. This history directly informs which treatments are appropriate and at what parameters.
Your Skin Type and Pigmentation History
Fitzpatrick skin type is assessed, as it affects the risk profile for pigmentation change following treatment. A history of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation or keloid scarring changes the treatment approach or may indicate that Morpheus8 Body is not the appropriate choice for your skin. This assessment happens before any treatment is offered.
Clinical Assessment of the Treatment Area
The tissue in the area of concern is assessed physically. This involves looking at and gently assessing the skin quality, the degree and type of laxity, the presence of excess skin rather than simply lax skin, and the underlying tissue behaviour. Photographs are taken for the clinical record with your consent. The assessment establishes whether the presentation is appropriate for Morpheus8 Body or whether a different approach, including a surgical referral, is more clinically appropriate.
Parameter Planning
Based on the tissue assessment, the appropriate needle depth and radiofrequency energy settings are selected for your specific areas. This is what Vaiva refers to as zone-by-zone mapping: different areas of the body, and different zones within the same treatment area, require different parameters based on skin thickness, tissue behaviour and clinical goals. Body areas are not treated uniformly. Parameters are selected for each zone based on what that zone needs and what the tissue will tolerate safely.
The Treatment Plan
The consultation concludes with a clear treatment plan. This covers which areas will be treated, the proposed course of sessions, the spacing between sessions, what to expect during recovery, what regenerative aftercare will be used, and what realistic outcomes look like and when to expect them. Pricing is provided at this stage.
Your Questions
The consultation is also the place to ask every question you have. What will treatment feel like, what are the risks for my skin type and what if I do not respond as expected? What happens if I need to defer? All of these are appropriate consultation questions and should be answered fully before any treatment is agreed.
The consultation at Face for Soul does not commit you to treatment. If you want time to consider the plan and the costs before deciding, that is entirely appropriate. Treatment should be a considered decision, not something agreed to in the moment.
