Taking antihistamines can reduce swelling and sleeping on your back with your head elevated on the night of treatment can further minimize this risk. To prevent bruising, it's recommended to refrain from taking omega 3 fatty acid supplements, anti-inflammatory medicines like ibuprofen etc., and alcohol for 48 hours before your injectable procedures.
