Exosomes are like 'tiny bubbles or packets' that are made inside cells. These little bubbles carry important messages or materials, such as proteins and tiny bits of genetic information, from one cell to another. It's like one cell sending a package to another cell with instructions or supplies to help it do its job. Exosomes help cells communicate and work together to stay healthy. They’re super small, so you can’t see them without a really powerful microscope!
Exosomes are incredibly important in aesthetic medicine because they play a key role in helping cells repair, regenerate, and communicate more efficiently. Since exosomes carry important proteins, growth factors, and genetic material between cells, they can help rejuvenate skin, heal damaged tissue, and promote healthier, younger-looking skin. They are also involved in reducing inflammation and accelerating the healing process after procedures like microneedling or Morpheus 8.

Polynucleotide treatment is a biostimulatory therapy that is administered to boost the collagen and elastin in the dermis, effectively reducing the visible effects of aging by diminishing fine lines and enhancing skin fullness. Additionally, it can be applied to the scalp to potentially enhance blood circulation and promote hair growth gradually.
Polynucleotides offer hydration to the skin reducing the appearance of lines and wrinkles increasing collagen and elastin production and enhancing dermal restructuring gradually. Your skin will look radiant hydrated and vibrant, with flexibility. It is like your skin, but a decade younger.
This treatment typically involves downtime. It's common to notice raised bumps, at the injection sites. These usually fade away within the hours. Some patients experience swelling less than 24 hours, some a bit longer. There is a chance of experiencing bruising or swelling following any procedure. To minimize the risk of bruising we recommend refraining from taking omega 3 fatty acid supplements, some painkillers (ibuprofen, naproxen etc.) and alcohol for 48 hours, before your treatments.
Compared to fillers that carry risks of overfilling or undesirable results polynucleotide treatment is minimally invasive. It focuses on enhancing the skin's abilities reducing the chances of complications while ensuring positive outcomes. This treatment is one of choice for patients who think of having tear through filler and they want to explore safer options.
Polynucleotides can be applied to parts of the body with the face and neck being the common areas. Polynucleotide hair treatment is utilized to boost scalp health and potentially stimulate hair growth over time. For targeting skin laxity and creepiness around the eyes, it can be directly applied in that area. This is one of the favourite area that patients chose polynucleotides for, with very great results.
The recommended treatment plan involves 3-4 sessions spaced two to four weeks apart and then repeating these every 6-9 months. Additional sessions can be carried out safely; in fact it is common for patients to visit every three months as an option, to the treatment schedule.
